Course Description: In this course, through a series of labs, advanced practice nursing students will engage in hands-on experience performing a variety of common primary care procedures including, but not limited to, microscopy, long-acting reversible contraceptive methods, and outpatient dermatology procedures. Students will learn indications, risks, benefits, and alternatives of the various procedures; patient management; and patient follow-up.
