Course Description: The APCS course complements the core, inquiry, and experiential education elements of the curriculum. The purpose of the APCS course is to help students further build upon their knowledge to care for patients as a whole and enhance communication skills with patients and other healthcare providers both orally and in writing. The APCS course is fully case-based and will focus on advancing 3 domains: hands-on skills, communication skills, and critical thinking skills.
