Course Description: This course provides a foundational examination of organizational systems and the complexities of healthcare design, delivery and economics in the US. Emphasis is placed on systems thinking, and ethics of organizational behavior related to practice and system-level issues. Students will explore healthcare organizations and delivery systems, and the impact of finance at national and practice levels. Business and financial strategic thinking will be utilized to analyze care delivery approaches.
