Course Description: This is a Bridges Curriculum Clinical Immersive Experience (CIEx), which provide medical students in Foundations 2 opportunities to broaden and enhance their professional development in health care settings different from those of their core clerkships. Students will gain experience in the family medicine approach to HIV care and prevention among women. Students will work in the Women's HIV Program at Parnassus, the Family HIV Clinic at ZSFG, and the National Clinical Consultation Call Center.
Prerequisites: Strong career interest in Family Medicine. Must have completed at least four FAM CM MED 110 clinic sessions
