Course Description: This is a Bridges Curriculum Clinical Immersive Experience (CIEx), which provide medical students in Foundations 2 opportunities to broaden and enhance their professional development in health care settings different from those of their core clerkships. Students will spend one week on the inpatient palliative care service at Mission Bay, working with the Palliative Care attending physician and social worker. The second week will be in various outpatient and home based palliative care settings.
