Course Description: In this Fall Quarter introductory course, the postgraduate student receives instruction on core information for the biological basis of the diagnosis, treatment, and assessment of periodontal diseases and Implant Dentistry. The overall objective of the course is to build on information provided in the summer quarter to move student beyond introductory periodontal principles to learning basic procedures, surgical strategies and preparation of models and other data records for surgery planning.
Prerequisites: Periodont 411.01
Restrictions: Enrollment in the first year of the periodontology postgraduate program
