Course Description: This is a Bridges Curriculum Clinical Immersive Experience (CIEx), which provide medical students in Foundations 2 opportunities to broaden and enhance their professional development in health care settings different from those of their core clerkships. Students gain insight into the roles of community organizations in promoting health for underserved patients, through participation in site visits to health care settings such as methadone clinic, jail or prison health, and homeless out reach.
Prerequisites: Students must be enrolled in the Model SFGH clerkship program.
