Course Description: This course will support Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) students in examining the development of health goals and measurement/assessment of outcomes for international, national and state health goals. The course will address health promotion and illness prevention for healthy/chronically ill populations. Emphasis is placed on the impact of social determinants of health and health inequities in vulnerable populations. Students will examine biostatistical principles used to measure outcomes.
