Course Description: Students will be provided with an overview of clinical genetics services at UCSF and gain experience in Pediatrics, Adult and Cancer Genetics clinics, and the Genomic Medicine Lab. Students will participate in case conferences, Exome Sign-Out, Hereditary and Molecular Tumor Boards, and will learn about the role of genetic diagnosis in patient management and the growing role of genomics in preventive health care.
