Course Description: This is a Bridges Curriculum Clinical Immersive Experience (CIEx), which provide medical students in Foundations 2 opportunities to broaden and enhance their professional development in health care settings different from those of their core clerkships. Students are paired with a preceptor in one of four surgical specialties (Orthopedics, Otolaryngology, Neurology, or Ophthalmology) and provide patient care in both the clinic setting and OR in order to understand the full continuum of care.
Prerequisites: PISCES students only
Restrictions: Medical students in Foundations 2
