Course Description: Provides students with exposure to the broad spectrum of conditions found in vascular surgery. The students will serve as an acting intern on the vascular surgery service. Hands-on participation by the student is expected in the operating room, wards, intensive care unit and ambulatory care settings. Students will participate in the pre, intra, and postoperative care of patients, and will be introduced to the full range of vascular therapies, including open and endovascular techniques.
