Course Description: During this 2 week experience, medical students will be exposed to a unique employer sponsored primary care practice in Delano or Lost Hills, away from the traditional fee-for-service model. Trainees will learn about ways to impact and improve population health outcomes with interdisciplinary teams, see patients directly under supervision of our family medicine preceptors, and learn about the needs of an underserved patient population consisting largely of agricultural workers & families.
Prerequisites: Students must have completed at least 4 or more sessions of their FCM 110 continuity clinic during 3rd year.
