Course Description: Course will focus on nursing management of cancer–related symptoms, with a specific focus on the older adult physical and mental health status. Content covered will span the entire care spectrum from treatment planning, active treatment symptom management and survivorship. Application of geriatric-focused assessment and prognostic/outcome prediction tools in the context of aging physiology and cancer pathophysiology will be emphasized.
