Course Description: This course examines principles and methods of mixed methods research. The emphasis is on application of philosophical and theoretical foundations, study designs, data collection, analysis, and interpretation of results. Students will critically appraise mixed methods studies relevant to their own areas of research and develop a mixed methods research proposal.
Prerequisites: NURSING 209A and NURSING 209B or equivalent introductory courses in qualitative research and quantitative research designs
