Course Description: This course provides 40 hours of didactic instruction in minimal and moderate sedation. It is designed in accordance with the American Dental Association’s Guidelines for Teaching Pain Control and Sedation to Dentists and Dental Students. It will focus on preparation of sedation device and administration of controlled substances to achieve an ideal level of conscious sedation.
