Course Description: This course advances student skills related to the management of pediatric complex conditions and introduces concepts related to the care of children with chronic conditions in the specialty care setting. Through problem-based learning and other didactic learning strategies, students will refine skills in the assessment and management of complex conditions in pediatric primary care and learn strategies for effective collaboration and coordination of care with pediatric specialists.
Prerequisites: N246.04A,B,C
Restrictions: restricted to students enrolled in the PNP-PC specialty
