Course Description: This course incorporates skills related to assessment, diagnosis and management of well and ill children, and prepares students for the transition to leadership and independent clinical practice across settings. Through problem-based learning and other didactic learning strategies, students will refine skills in the comprehensive care of children and learn to integrate them within the context of professional role development and state and federal standards for safe and ethical practice.
