Course Description: In this course, students will work together with a primary advisor to outline a research proposal to take into the field. Through this experience, the student will be able to demonstrate skills in conducting fieldwork research, including ethnographic interviews, the ability to identify the key points from these interviews and make notes that assist them when writing their dissertations. At the conclusion of this course, students will present their field notes to their advisors.
Prerequisites: Consent of instructor
Restrictions: must have advanced to candidacy.
