Course Description: Course provides an overview of informatics to support understanding of how data is organized and analyzed to inform healthcare delivery, quality and safe use. Topics include the history/evolution of informatics in healthcare; collection and distribution of data; and safety, innovation and nursing outcomes supported by informatics. Participants gain exposure in leading and managing informatics initiatives, and integrating informatics across practice, research, communication and education domains.
