Course Description: This clinic experience provides advanced training to students in providing clinic care to patients requiring dental implant surgical treatments. Students are expected to apply their knowledge of diagnostic modalities, surgical procedures, and strategies to perform surgical procedures including soft tissue and hard tissue deficiencies and multiple/full-mouth implant placement. Emphasis and expectations shift each quarter as student advances.
Prerequisites: PERIO 429.04
Restrictions: Enrollment in the third year of the postgraduate periodontology program.
