Course Description: This course will familiarize students with key aspects of human prenatal development from conception through birth. Particular focus is given to formation of the embryologic germ layers, developmental mechanisms and organ system formation in order to provide an understanding of the embryological basis of congenital anomalies and genetic malformation syndromes.
