Course Description: This course is the second of two lecture courses designed to foster an appreciation for community service and provide an introduction to the externship experience (PT CN CARE 101C) with emphasis on the social determinants of health and cultural competency in providing dental care to a diverse patient pool.
Prerequisites: All first- and second-year coursework.
Restrictions: Third-year dentistry students.
