Course Description: This is a Bridges Curriculum Clinical Immersive Experience (CIEx), which provide medical students in Foundations 2 opportunities to broaden and enhance their professional development in health care settings different from those of their core clerkships. This is a 2 week elective that introduces a case study of an orthopaedic surgery patient and follows their progress in healing and recovery. Students will spend time in outpatient clinic and the operating room with orthopaedic faculty.
Prerequisites: 3rd year student in good academic standing
