Course Description: DPT students and physical therapists must understand the relevance and value of adaptive sports participation as it relates to patient-centered goals. Through this elective, DPT students will have the opportunity to learn more about adaptive sports, gain experience working directly with athletes, and integrate their education through working with adaptive athletes from across the lifespan presenting with various orthopedic and/or neurological conditions.

Restrictions: Second-year and third-year DPT students
