Course Description: The course will provide students the opportunity to work directly in a community clinic that predominantly serves Black/African American residents in the Filmore/Western Addition, outer Mission, and Bayview district. Students will participate in the pop-up clinics and provide health education and counseling, health screenings, and other health services to residents while working with other health professionals in this work.
