Course Description: Sleep medicine is an interdisciplinary field bringing together medicine, pediatrics, psychiatry, neurology, ENT, and OMFS. Students will have the opportunity to see a range of patients and learn about evaluation and treatment of sleep complaints. Regardless of which field of medicine students pursue, sleep impacts all patients. Poor sleep has a huge range of negative health outcomes. Students will learn to understand sleep disorders so they will not miss these critical treatment opportunities.
Prerequisites: Students in Career Launch in good academic standing
