Course Description: Provides exposure to critically injured patients at a busy Level 1 trauma center. Students will learn to apply Advance Trauma Life Support (ATLS) principles to manage injured patients and will participate in patients subsequent intra and post-operative care. Students will learn basic principles for managing critically injured patients.
Prerequisites: SJV PRIME Students must contact the Fresno F2 Coordinator for assistance in scheduling this elective.
Restrictions: CIEx is for SJV PRIME students only in F2
