Course Description: This course builds from basic portrayal of decision problems, to more inclusive and sophisticated methods. Section activities parallel the lectures; assignments include both programmed exercises on current topics and development of student's own decision analysis and cost effectiveness analysis.
Prerequisites: No specific prior courses are required to take this course. Students should have a basic familiarity with health economics (e.g. measuring costs) and statistical analysis approached (e.g. probability, odds, bi-variate testing).
