Course Description: This Trauma Surgery Elective introduces first- and second-year medical students to the fundamentals of trauma care. Through lectures and hands-on skill sessions, students will explore topics such as airway management, hemorrhage control, trauma imaging, and nonoperative and operative care. The course also highlights the career pathway and scope of trauma surgery, as well as the challenges faced in the field.
