Course Description: Students will serve as acting interns in the busy Acute Care Clinic of the Pediatric Ambulatory Care Center affiliated with UCSF Fresno Pediatrics. Students will gain skills in assessment and management of a wide range of common acute pediatric complaints in a high-risk patient population while working with an interdisciplinary care team. Students will also participate in all teaching conferences and give a formal presentation on one relevant clinical topic to pediatric trainees and attendings.
