Course Description: This clinical course provides opportunities for the adult gerontology clinical nurse specialist (CNS) to apply advanced health assessment concepts and skills under the supervision of a CNS preceptor or other advanced practice provider in the acute care setting. Learners develop competency in addressing the three spheres of CNS influence: patient, nurse, and system while focusing on adult gerontology care.
