Course Description: This is a Bridges Curriculum Clinical Immersive Experience (CIEx), which provides medical students in Foundations 2 opportunities to broaden and enhance their professional development in health care settings different from those of their core clerkships. This elective will expose students to the field of infectious diseases across our hospital systems. Students will see how clinicians think through ID cases and get first-hand experience with clinical microbiology in the micro laboratory.
