Course Description: Advanced clinical dermatology elective (not research) in one of 5 subspecialty areas: Inpatient; Complex Medical; HIV; Cutaneous Oncology; or Pediatrics. Student will have supervised patient care experience with targeted faculty. Upon completion, students will have in-depth clinical knowledge equivalent to a 1st yr derm resident, including understanding clinical conditions, basic science relative to disease pathogenesis, and first line therapies for conditions in the chosen subspecialty.
Prerequisites: 140.01 Clinical Dermatology should be taken immediately before 140.08
Restrictions: Medical students applying to dermatology residencies, instructor approval.
