Course Description: Emergency Ultrasound offers the student an opportunity to integrate bedside ultrasound into their evaluation of the emergency department patient. Along with lectures, students will obtain practice in performing ultrasound exams on emergency department patients who are undergoing diagnostic evaluation. Also, students will get an opportunity to learn and utilize bedside ultrasound for procedural guidance.
Prerequisites: Fourth year standing.
Restrictions: Restricted to 1 UCSF fourth year medical student per block.
