Course Description: The student will admit and follow a patient approximately every fourth night, and participate in team work rounds and attending rounds. In the ambulatory setting, the student will evaluate adult medical patients presenting to the general medical clinic and urgent care clinic for workup of acute new symptoms and for management of chronic illnesses. In the ambulatory setting, the student will work with an internal medical preceptor.
Prerequisites: 3rd year standing.
Restrictions: UCSF medical students only.
