Course Description: Students evaluate and present GI consults on patients admitted to the medical and surgical wards. Observe GI techniques, including sigmoidoscopy, colonoscopy, endoscopy, liver biopsy. Attend weekly GI and liver clinics, and conferences held in conjunction with Surgery, Pathology and Radiology.
Prerequisites: Medicine 110 and fourth-year standings.
