Course Title: Introduction to Poverty Medicine - UCSF Parnassus
Course Description: This course is a two week elective during which students will explore the social, environmental and medical aspects of the care of impoverished populations. The class will include work in community clinics, visits to medical and non-medical service providers and lectures by local experts.
Prerequisites: Third- and fourth-year medical students only.
