Course Description: Course examines the theory and practice of providing palliative and end-of-life care to patients and their families within and across multiple practice settings and the lifespan. A multidisciplinary approach to palliative care will address symptom management as well as age-related, cultural, spiritual, ethical, communication and self care issues.
