Course Description: Course examines current clinical guidelines for cancer prevention and early detection with attention to the needs of diverse populations. Breast, gynecological, prostate, and colon cancer prevention and early detection are the main illnesses addressed. Both community and national perspectives on cancer prevention and detection programs are explored. Structural and social determinants of health that influence cancer prevention and detection are addressed.
