Course Description: Course examines current clinical guidelines for cancer prevention and early detection with attention to the needs of diverse populations. Breast, cervical, prostate, and colon cancer prevention and early detection are the main illnesses addressed. Both community and national perspectives on cancer prevention and detection programs are explored. Issues such as differing cultural perspectives on cancer prevention and detection as well as issues around access to services will be addressed.
