Course Description: Course addresses the theoretical and specific basis for the assessment and management of complex conditions experienced by patients with cancer. Emphasis is on the nursing assessment and management of oncologic emergencies (e.g., spinal cord compression, sepsis, superior vena cava syndrome, disseminated intravascular coagulation).
Prerequisites: None
Restrictions: Masters of Science students only. No pre-licensure students.
