Course Description: Course addresses the theoretical and scientific basis for management of complex clinical conditions experienced by patients with cancer and HIV/AIDS. Emphasis is on nursing management of conditions such as: spinal cord compression, sepsis, superior vena cava syndrome, and pneumocystis carinii pneumonia.
