Course Description: Course is designed to provide the student with a scientific basis for understanding the normal pattern of development in the infant and child (birth- 12 years of age). Building on knowledge of normative development, common behavioral issues and mental health concerns that are encountered by advanced practice nurses in primary care and specialty settings will be reviewed.
