Course Description: This course provides an introduction to the concept of formulating a differential diagnosis for patients presenting with undifferentiated symptoms. Students will learn to select appropriate diagnostic tests for adult and elderly patients with common acute and chronic illnesses. This course builds on advanced pathophysiology and advanced health assessment coursework.
Prerequisites: Acute Care Nurse Practitioner or Clinical Nurse Specialist.
Restrictions: 1st year or post-masters AGACNP and CNS students.
